Applications of Raw-Edge V Belts

Raw-edge V belts are a type of belt used in power transmission systems. They are made from a combination of natural and synthetic rubber, and feature a V-shaped cross section that helps to increase the belt's stability and grip on the pulley.  The raw edge belts are more flexible then the wrapped belts and have a higher resistance to heat.

Raw-edge V belts are commonly used in a wide range of industrial and automotive applications. Some of the most common applications include:

Power transmission: Raw-edge V belts are used to transmit power from a driving source, such as an electric motor or internal combustion engine, to a driven load, such as a machine or pump.

Compressors: Raw-edge V belts are used to drive compressors in a wide range of industries, including HVAC, refrigeration, and air conditioning.

Conveyors: Raw-edge V belts are used to drive conveyors in manufacturing and material handling applications.

Agricultural machinery: Raw-edge V belts are used in a wide range of agricultural machinery, such as tractors, combines, and hay balers.

Automotive: Raw-edge V belts are used in a wide range of automotive applications, such as power steering, air conditioning, and alternators.

Medical equipment: Raw-edge V belts are used in medical equipment like X-ray machines and CT scanners.

Industrial machinery : Raw-edge V belts are used in industrial machinery like lathes, drill presses, and milling machines to transfer power from the electric motor to the drive shaft.
